Giving Tuesday is a time to celebrate what Christmas is really all about; coming together as a community and taking care of one another.
This is exactly why Fresh Food Weekly was founded and it’s what drives the organization’s mission to support low-income families with free, nutritious food.
Help Fresh Food Weekly Raise Donations
During a time when food prices are the highest they've ever been, it's hard not to think about all the families who can't afford a turkey dinner this Christmas.
Or worse, those who cannot afford food at all. This is the case for thousands of families in Barrie and Innisfil this year.
But you can help. Provide practical support to local low-income families in crisis by sponsoring a turkey dinner meal box at Fresh Food Weekly.
And that’s not all! If Fresh Food Weekly is one of the top five fundraising organizations on CanadaHelps.com this Giving Tuesday, they could win an extra $1,000 and support even more people.
Support Fresh Food Weekly before November 28th to help them to reach the top five! You can give via this link.
Sponsored Meal Boxes Can Be Gifted!
When you gift a Christmas Dinner Meal Box, donors will receive a thoughtful Christmas card with a QR code linking to a personalized voice note from a current program recipient.
This gift allows you to hear the voice of someone who has received a Christmas Dinner Meal Box!
Cards will be mailed out throughout the first two weeks of December.
